i’m looking forward to checking out purl patchwork, the new fabric store next to purl soho
virginia johnson is a textile designer and illustrator whose work i’ve followed since i first saw her resort line in stores a few years ago. her textiles and illustrations can be seen on her website & on the art department site. i think the top illustration is from the kate spade books she illustrated- i love it. 
a few photos from today… it was lots of fun (thanks again rena!). i’m not showing a full window photo, because i’m going back tomorrow to add a few more pieces to the bottom, which felt a little empty…thanks modish!
i’ve been busy getting ready for my window display at rare device. i’m setting up today, and the special edition plates go on sale tomorrow! i’ll take some pictures of the window when it’s done.
