i received this print in the mail today as a wedding present from family friend & artist tim berry. it’s a nine color silk screen print, and it’s gorgeous.

perfect timing… i was having a slow and unproductive monday morning… not feeling very inspired– until my package from kinokuniya arrived with two mina perhonen books. i’m excited to pour over every page later tonight… this might be the most inspiring thing i’ve come across in a long time. thank you so much to mav, for first introducing me to the series, and stella for reminding me to go out and find them.
i bought this funny book yesterday at auto– called le macchine di munari, by bruno munari (originally published in 1942). i love the colors – and love the illustration style… i thought his other re-issued book bruno munari’s zoo was great too. it’s now on my amazon wish list…
