* i’m copying and pasting my posts from the old bluelines blog, so i have them in my own archives…

I thought I’d share some more images of my vintage-book collection, this time focusing on how-to craft books. I’ve learned a lot of technical and practical information from these books, and also used them for visual inspiration for my designs. I find old craft books at thrift stores, used book stores, and yard sales — always very cheaply priced. Here are some photos of the books I pull from the shelf most often.

  1. the images in that very last shot are awesome. vintage books are the best. you have such a great collection.

  2. I cannot thank you enough for sharing these. You have saved me. My mother who is very much into embroidery and wholly self-taught will absolutely adore these books and I would never have found them but for you. I just hit the purchase button on Amazon and I feel so happy. Thanks again. Milena
