Long story: a friend I just caught up with was telling me how much she loves your book, and I was telling her about your blog, and then I remembered having seen this photo which I’d been curious about but too shy to ask about. How did you happen to be at that beach? That’s our hometown, and the beach we grew up on. I literally grew up a five minute walk from there.
