i’ve been meaning to post for a while about textile designer lucienne day, who passing away at the end of january at age 93. i remember the first time i saw her work, i felt the wind knocked out of me in a good way. she was so prolific, and i’ve turned to this book of her work so many times when i need a burst of energy for designing. thank you for being so inspiring, lucienne.

  3. I didn't know that she had passed away. I was lucky enough to go to a small talk she gave at Glasgow School of Art about 5 years ago. She was very inspiring. It's nice to be reminded that I was lucky enough to attend that talk and to read about her life again. thank you.
