i took the afternoon off, since it is a national holiday today. josh and i went to the lower east side and then soho. i was craving noodles, and found recommendations for this place online, but it was closed. we ended up at spitzer’s. the food was not great, but i liked the ceiling and the tables! and they have a great beer selection. then we wandered through soho, looking for a few things for our vacation next week. we’re getting a break from the cold weather soon!! (actually it was a balmy 65 degrees in ny today).
it was a balmy 58 in boston, but we had rain, too.
