a friend of mine from high school, ariel, and his wife barrie, were featured in the new issue of wilder quarterly. they live in oakland, and keep chickens in their beautiful backyard. ariel started a new blog about urban chickens called hedgefarming.

I live right around the corner from this house! Everyday I walk by and take a peek in their yard and think how lovely it is.

omigosh i know this little yard! i jog by all the time and peer into their adorable little garden wishing for a space like that. i live a couple of blocks away 🙂
