new from beklina
i’ve been meaning to post about this beautiful book for a while. my neighbor jenine wrote, photographed, and designed the book– and kindly gave me a copy! it’s in korean, so unfortunately i can’t read it, but jenine explained that it’s a cookbook of american desserts for korean people. i have it on my coffee table and i flip through it every so often to look at the pretty photos. the book can be found here, here, and here.
mociun scarves are on sale at a great price right now!

and, here’s what i got that day…
my parents were visiting last week. on friday we went to lunch at one of my favorite places, eat. on our way there we stopped at the brookyn kitchen (where they had the most beautiful eggs). and on the way home we stopped in a polish candy shop (by the recommendation of hikaru in brooklyn diary), and then sander’s jewish pastry shop for some challah and rugula.
some photos that didn’t make it into the d*s sneak peek…
