a few more listings on ebay…
i’m slowly listing some clothes (mostly vintage) on ebay. i have a hard time parting with vintage clothes, especially if they have great patterns and are well-made– but i’m forcing myself to let go of things that i don’t wear. i’d rather they go to new homes where they’ll be worn an appreciated. i bought the strapless number in the top photo for a wedding dress. it’s too big for me, and i planned to alter it. i ended up finding another dress that fit perfectly. but isn’t that dress amazing?? my plan is to continue adding items to ebay for the next few weeks…
i love this poster created by christopher silas neal — both visually and the message it sends. christopher was asked by readymade magazine (along with four other artists) to design a poster in the style of the depression era WPA posters. you can download it for free (and read more about his process) here.
we had a surprise birthday party for my brother on saturday. after seeing so many balloon photos lately, i had to get some (so i went to this funny party store at the atlantic mall.) i loved the colors. they look so flat and graphic in the night-time light.
