boo hoo….
after this post, i finally bought the beautiful virginia johnson scarf. a friend helped me find it on sale at bebe babble. it was taking a while to arrive, so i looked up my confirmation and tracking numbers. the fed ex website says that it was delivered 2 weeks ago– “left on doorstep. no signature required”. so sad… it must have been stolen. i called bebe babble and they’re filling a claim with fed ex, but it doesn’t look good…

hand drawn patterns by sarah law.
sarah took my textile stamping class, and i was impressed with her pattern design. she’s currently having fabric printed to make production easier for her accessories, but for now you can get one of a kind items in her shop.

mociun, spring 09!
these dreamy photos were taken by alyson fox. i love the photos, i love the clothes…

i have a few favroite pieces that i hope to get. i’ve actually been enjoying the winter, but these photos make me crave summer again.

some images i took here.

. . . . . . . .

chinatown during chinese new year is one of my favorite new york things. it’s so visually stimulating, all the crazy colors… i do feel a little bad about all the wasted paper and trash, but it’s so pretty and i love confetti. and it’s only once a year. it was warm enough yesterday to eat our lunch outside, before walking down to chinatown for the the parade.

we’re looking for a new (or old) couch… so i’ve been browsing craigslist daily. i came across this listing for a couch recovered in the same pink diamond pattern linen from the cover of the first issue of domino magazine. i really love it, but sadly it’s not right for our space. so i thought i’d post the link here in case it’s right for someone else reading… it’s a great deal!
