a few things i’m considering from the fall sales…
from bird, built by wendy, and steven alan.
one more item in my shop before the holidays…. the mociun + corwin 2009 calendar print.
— 5-color silk screen print
— 18×24″
— 75 pieces (30 have already been sold)
caitlin mociun and i created the design with paper-cuts, inspired by childhood memories of plants and animals in northern california.
my shop will be open until decemeber 18th.
today, 1pm – 5pm
details here.
fyi — unfortunately, the pieces from christopher david ryan were held up in the mail, so they won’t be at the sale.
UPDATE! — hooray for USPS sunday deliveries! CDR’s goods will be at the sale.
new items in my shop!
i’ve collaborated again with caitlin mociun to make pillows using extra fabric from the mociun clothing line. they’re very limited in quantity. i love these pillows so much, and wish i could keep one of each for myself (i always say that!)
and, another mociun +corwin collaboration— we’ve made just 25 tote bags, from white denim screen printed with a tonal white on white mociun “zig zag” pattern, and hand stamped with my “yoruba” pattern. these were made using fabric that has slight irregularities, and then stamped by hand, so each piece is slightly different.
the pillows and bags will be at our sale on sunday, so come by and save on shipping, if you can!
the stc craft/melanie falick books blog is having a holiday questionnaire and book giveaway until december 12th. you can answer questions about your crafting plans for the holidays and enter to win the stc craft book of your choice. i hope you choose printing by hand, of course! but my personal favorite stc book is last minute patchwork + quilted gifts, by joelle hoverson.
