i decided to subscribe to gourmet magazine after seeing images of the beautiful photography via jen and maria. so glad i did. it really is an inspiring magazine visually. i love their use of deep, dark colors.

camilla has been giving little peeks into her collaboration with karin… each peek being even better than the last!

thanks for nice comments from my last post… it is always hard for me to settle back in after a vacation! and going from the harsh ny winter to the caribbean was such a shock to the senses. it felt amazing to wear light, summery dresses again, and soak in some heat and sun. st barths is so lush (in both the natural and man-made). the cactus, palms, and bougainvillea (in pink, fuchsia, red, orange, yellow & white) were so beautiful. i can’t help but see patterns and textures in everything. and we had some really amazing food. the french know how to eat! (oh the croissants!!)… i’ll be adding more photos here.
