friday night treat.
i had a pattern-filled day on wednesday… went to this exhibit on pattern samples (photos of catalog above), then to the old kinokuniya store, which is closing at the end of the month, so books are marked down 50%! (thanks again kelly!). and then stopped by secondhand rose, a vintage wallpaper store that i’ve wanted to go to for years. more photos below of the books from kinokuniya (i finally got the mina perhonen embroidery book, so happy about that. it was hidden behind a sign).

the new gallery show at rare device will be obsessive consumption {work by kate bingaman-burt}, opening this friday, dec 7th.
