i love patterns in almost every style but have never been a fan of laura ashley (or didn’t realize i was!). so i’m surprised to be posting about their “new” archive collection, which is reproductions of their original prints and patterns from the 1970s– all made from organic cotton. they seem to only be available in the uk… via style will save us.

i love artist & designer laura normadin’s new blog wren handmade (which is also the name of her line of handmade goods), and i’m especially inspired by her color palette for these granny squares. i haven’t crocheted in a while and these makes me want to get stared again. i’m looking forward to seeing wren handmade items at renegade in a few weeks.

hi!
i can finally get back to posting here regularly again!
the second photo shoot went really well, and i’m so excited about the photos. i wish i could share them all now… it’s going to be hard to wait. my apartment has been turned upside down, so i’m slowly putting it back together… my studio looks like a tornado blew through! it’s kind of nice to have everything cleared out of our living room though, and have a chance to look at the empty space before putting our furniture back. an empty room can be so refreshing and inspiring.
