if i were anywhere near denver, colorado i would be marking my calendar for march 17th, when the denyse schmidt show at p design gallery is debuting. i’ve been a big fan of denyse’s since taking her quilting class (that’s me in the photo on the bottom right!) at make workshop years ago, and im so inspired by her work. these one of a kind quilts in particular have a gorgeous mixing of patterns, that i love.

i look forward to seeing anna sui’s prints each season. this collection was definitely not a favorite of mine, but i’m always inspired by her layering of colors and patterns. these were my favorites…
