i wish i were in california now, to see chris natrop’s exhibit at the sonoma county museum. for anyone who is in that area, he’s giving a multimedia presentation on sunday, august 27th. his work looks absolutely amazing. i hope i can see it in person soon. in the mean time, he has so much to look at on his website…

a new store opened up in the clinton hill/fort greene area called repop, and i love it. it’s the store i dreamed would move into our neighborhood. owned by artists who recently moved back to new york after a year in kansas city, the store is filled with vintage clothes, jewelry, furniture, and strange oddities like a taxidermy owl and shark jaws. i bought a very mia farrow looking dress that i love… top photo from clinton hill blog (thanks for tipping me off to the new store opening!).
after seeing his house story in poplife, i found adam silverman’s website, atwater pottery. ohhh, i love the shapes and textures. i want it all!
i got my first poplife magazine in the mail (volume 02/issue 05). i loved seeing the story on rare device! and there’s a great feature- home of adam silverman (potter and former owner of clothing line x-large) and louise bonnet (illustrator and graphic designer).
