i’m slowly listing some clothes (mostly vintage) on ebay. i have a hard time parting with vintage clothes, especially if they have great patterns and are well-made– but i’m forcing myself to let go of things that i don’t wear. i’d rather they go to new homes where they’ll be worn an appreciated. i bought the strapless number in the top photo for a wedding dress. it’s too big for me, and i planned to alter it. i ended up finding another dress that fit perfectly. but isn’t that dress amazing?? my plan is to continue adding items to ebay for the next few weeks…

it would look so cute on your rena… but you would definitely have to alter it. it’s maybe a size 10-12… i’m not sure. but i was planning to have it taken in.

the dress is several sizes larger than a 4-6 actually. i would guess a US 10 or 12. i was planning to have it altered to fit, but never did. it’s a beauty!!

I actually meant the bottom pic, what do you call a top in the states? a blouse? fashion terms on this side the pond is a whole other language! when I’m in the states my american friends laugh when I call a tank top a vest and I laugh at them when they say pants (which is underwear over here) about trousers! 🙂

oops! you were right, we call it a “top”, but i thought you said “top photo” for some reason. i may be losing it.. haha. i’m not sure how to describe it in terms of sizing… it is a loose style though, so i bet it would fit you.
sarah– funny, it does appear that i’m hovering over that dress! i held the camera out so that i could get a straight on view.
