you can also watch a video of a talk she presented for TED http://www.ted.com

moring=morning oops!
thanks n!
i also love maira kalman. and this blog.
oh love her.. i loved her ted talk too.
how weird lena! I literally just wrote her a letter and scanned the letter in and emailed it to her yesterday morning. I had just finished her book “The principles of uncertainty” which has inspired me sooo much! š love maira!
hey roxy! that’s so cool… she probably hears from a lot of people, but i’m SURE a letter from you will stand out as extra special. i haven’t bought the new book because my mom bought it for me for christmas. i have to wait, ha!
i have loved maira’s work for soooo long now. how fun to get to see a slice-of-life view of her. when she started organizing all those things on her table, i thought, ahhh – i just love the eyes she sees through. thank you so much for posting – any idea how one might get to see the longer version of the documentary?
i don’t know about a longer version of the documentary… but if you find out, please let me know!
i am so excited to see her work in the new embroidery show at the Museum of Art & Design! have you gone yet? SAPLINGS field trip in january maybe!
