hand job, a catalog of type
by michael perry
a collection of typography made by hand rather than the computer. also great photos of artists studios and type inspiration.
oh princeton architectural press. gosh. i like them.
oh my. such loveliness. I think I’m going to have to buy the Hand Job book eventually… all the images I keep seeing from it online. its really too much! 🙂
I read through “Taking Things Seriously” in about a day. Some really interesting objects in there. Seems like it’s often more about the experience and the story than the actual object. David Berman has a line in a poem, “Souvenirs only reminded you of buying them.” It’s kind of like that.
Oh my….I love and covet all those books. I have a book problem:-(
i bought ‘taking things seriously’.
that’s great! i like it very much.
thank you for your good information!
