  1. oh lovely collection!
and i must add that my new plates arrived today and we just love them…

  2. kathleen said it best AND I was just complaining about plate-boredom today. That’s it, I’m heading out to the Salvation Army tomorrow. Thx for the inspiration.

  3. what a fun collection! my favorite is in the top picture, third one in on the bottom from the left. what’s your’s?

  4. thanks!
it’s so hard to pick a favorite!
but it might be the one on the far left in the top photo (most of it’s cut off in the photo). it’s really different from the rest, but i love it because it’s handmade and i only have one. i have multiple of most of them.

  5. Great collection, I love them! I would have trouble choosing one for my morning coffeee.

  6. Oh dear, I couldn’t resist photographing and blogging my mugs too (while I was supposed to be working on Sunday!). Thanks for the inspiration.

  7. lena, your mugs are fabulous. I love that one in the top image with the blue fish. cute!

  8. oh my! just when i think ‘i should get rid of all my mismatched stuff and get a set of grown-up dishes’ i see this and am totally inspired! thanks!

  9. hey cal,
yeah i know what you mean… i used to have all mis-matched water glasses too and decided to give them away and get plain matching glasses, so i could feel somewhat grown up! i noticed it especially on thanksgiving… when my in-laws were over and everything was mis-matched and from a thrift store– plates, silverware, glasses, platters, etc!! it can be too much!

  10. Hi Lena, great stuff on your blog!
You might want to check out my retro coffee mug collection at TopKop.dk.
Though they’re a bit more ‘seventies’ and pop-art-ish than yours 🙂
