i wish i could see the latest amanda barr exhibit at the branch gallery, in durham, nc. i found the branch website through clive & sunshine, whose work has also exhibited there. only one photo of the latest show, golden hiccups, is shown on the site– but photos from a past exhibit of work by amanda barr make me want to see more.

i love seeing work that could almost be a painting, but then suddenly you realize it is a sculpture. It brings it to a whole different level, Amanda’s work is there.
