  1. :(….hope not. Nothing better than a huge stack of paper magazines, their weight, their smell {selvedge!!}…..digital just doesn’t compare! {even if it does save trees…which, I supose IS something to think about…;/}

  2. uie, jak! I totally agree with Abigail. I want to feel the pages, smell the ink…

  3. Hi to all,

    Thanks for the comments on the digital issue of Nylon. (I work for NXTbook.) We’ve definitely found that our product is not the perfect solution for everyone. Still, the digital edition does some cool things paper can’t, like link to advertiser sites, mp3 files, etc. so give it a fair try. šŸ™‚

    That being said, I’ll always have a huge stack of magazines on my nightstand, too.

  4. hi marcus-
    i’m definitely open to the idea… some magazines i need to see and feel in person, but others i can imagine reading only online. i’ve started to prefer reading certain sections of the ny times online, because of the extra features, like audio tours. i thought the digital nylon was well done! nothing like the excitement of getting a new magazine in the mailbox though…

  5. Thank you for the link. I also prefer the paper copy, something to have in your hands and the joy of flicking through. Takes a long time to load too!

  6. maybe sometimes it can be useful, but you loose a lot…the feeling, the touch and being able to flip around the pages quicky and going back and forward just looking around
