  1. your dresses are so lovely !!
i love them put out of context on the white background of your blog, they're beautiful floating…

  2. These illustrations are great. The article is interesting; I would be interested in reading the book to get a more indepth look. I am in the process buying no clothes in 2011. I had to buy 1 pair of black pants for work but I am hoping that will be all for the year.

  3. Your draw dresses are realy nice & their purpose very interesting.
I feel so much concerned with the suject.

  4. Really cute illustration! So interesting that despite the cost of a dress plummeting, the amount we spend on clothes has actually increased. While at one point i dreamed of sewing for a living, I won't even bother sewing custom made clothing for people anymore because of the distorted view of how much a dress should cost, and the amount of time that goes into making it. Thanks for sharing a very interesting article!

  5. of course, the evolution of this wear through all those years, is totally amazing, from the ancient dresses that cover all the body, until the moderm mini skirt.
