we painted over the chocolate brown color in our bedroom with bright white. i love it. it’s a little stark and shocking right now, but i think it’s going to look good when we put our furniture back in the room. it already feels brighter and calmer.

It looks awesome! So funny you should post about this, I have been wanting to paint over our chocolate walls as well. I am just bored with them. Can't wait to see how it looks with all your stuff back in.
I am loving white walls right now, but you have to have those great architectural details (that you have) to really pull it off. Looks great.

The molding in this room is incredible! And it really pops now that it is this bright, clean white. What a lovely space!

looking very light and airy white is such a lovely backdrop and doesnt have to be boring you have such lovely colourful things Im sure you will add everchanging colour to the environment.
