i finally went to the 10 ft single vintage fabric store in williamsburg (the new fabric store is next to the vintage clothing store with the same name), and it’s textile heaven. they have quilts, wool blankets, fabric of every pattern and style, cloth napkins, hankies, kilims, rugs…. i felt like i had come across a store that was catered specifically to me!

(i didn’t have my camera with me, so i had to take photos with my phone)

  1. that place is 3 blocks from my apartment, and i still haven't been yet! a friend of mine has some beautiful rugs from there.

  2. the prices weren't bad…
    i bought a blanket for $40.
nothing is a steal, but everything is in great condition so the prices seemed fair to me…. and for ny!

  3. It certainly does look like heaven! I think I'd be there quite a while and leave with an armful, for sure.

  4. Thanks so much for blogging about this shop. I've never heard of it, but I think I need to hop on the G right now!

  5. I've been reading your blog for a while, but have never said hello. I really like this store. Also, I recently got your printing book, and I can't wait to start a project of my own!

  6. Waaa I'm jealous, wish I could go, I've been hunting down some vintage bedding.

  7. ha ha ha…I was looking at all the pics there, and thinking "How'd she get in my workroom?" I have a lot of those same fabrics in my stash. I believe it is a true fact, that, the time spent looking at fabrics is added to your life….
