i was clicking around blogs this morning, and found the link to artist/printmaker sister corita. most of her screen prints are from the 50s and 60s. she was so prolific! i accidentally closed the window of the blog that introduced me to her work, otherwise i would give it credit. oops!
I have one of the books inspired by her…Learning by Heart. It is fantastic!!
I was just going to post about learning by heart. It's truly inspirational. I second Marchi's comment.

very beautiful colours – the transparency of the ink also 🙂
How fantastic!
the book about her life and work is a must have.
Come Alive! is one of my favorite books. The colors are an INCREDIBLE mix, and in my opinion, timeless…

Thank you! These are wonderful. I must read Learning by Heart and Come Alive.
I love her work it reminds me a bit of Picasso and some of his cubist work
particularly the figure image which reminds me a bit 'Les Demoiselles d'Avignon'. Awonderful use of colour too. Thanks for sharing!!!!
All the drawings shown in this post seems to be looking like a great work of artistic creation….
