lovely! my husband and i were looking into moving back to michigan, buying a farm, and making it into an art farm (all the outbuildings would be various studios). and also be somewhat self-sustaining, grow almost all of our own food, etc. hope we can make it happen one of these days!

Me three! What a glorious place. I am certain I would live forever if it were in that place.

i want a life like that too!
question: how do you get your images so large? i blog on blogger, and every time i try to make an image "x-large", it just cuts off when i post it.

hi sarah
my husband is a web developer, so he helped me change the code in blogger. sorry i can't be more helpful! maybe there is a tutorial online?

What a wonderful life to dream of!

I've been reading your blog for a while now, but I think this is the first time I've commented... I just ordered your book "Printing by Hand" and I can hardly wait to receive it. It should be here by the end of the week!

I totally feel the same way.

I just moved to a semi-rural property on four acres, and am slowly trying to convert everything to a self-sustainable art farm, to steal Porcelain's phrase.

Beautiful photos.
