i always look forward to seeing christopher silas neal's illustration for the modern love column in the new york times 'sunday styles' section. i loved this week's, since i'm partial to dachshunds. the story was very sweet too (if you're a dog person).

I am also a dashchund owner and love finding illustrations of them. I've tried to draw them myself but found it to be very difficult.
