i bought a baby's breath (gypsophilia muralis) plant recently. i didn't realize what it was until it started flowering. baby's breath has such a bad reputation, but seen in its natural state instead of as filler in ugly bouquets, it's actually a really lovely plant.
i'm excited to be adding a very limited quantity of mociun + corwin pillows to my shop. i had these pillows made with extra fabric from designer caitlin mociun's clothing line. there was only enough fabric to make a few pillows in each design (and in some case just one or two). it's going to be so hard to part with these! i wish i could keep them all-- they look so great grouped together. i limited myself to keeping just one...

it was so hot and humid in new hampshire! there was no air conditioner, but it felt so good to be sweaty and sticky, and then jump in a lake (we can't do that in the city). my favorite thing about new hampshire in the summer is the wild flowers. but they're hard to photograph. the heat finally broke after several big storms blew through...
we're in new hampshire until thursday, visiting family. over the weekend we were in cape cod visiting family too. we stopped at a ceramic studio, scargo pottery, that left me day dreaming of moving to the country to work in a big open-air studio. i bought a couple pieces that i really love.
