yippee!!! muji, the environmentally conscious japanese retailer, is opening its first shop in the us-- at 620 8th avenue in nyc. it's planned to be open for the 2007 holiday shopping season.

i was so excited when i read that! i bought so much muji stuff when i was in europe. finally, they're in the US! hopefully they'll open up a store on this coast too.

This is easily the best news I've heard in years!!! No more stupid shipping fees from England! No more scouring the Moma store desperately looking for anything remotely new (when I was in there 2 days before on the same mission). No more hoarding my 0.38 and 0.5 pens!!!! I am happy

that is fantastic news, i work right by the moma and buy stuff there all the time but as stella said, their selection is minimal. i love that hop flip book!
