like zillions of other people, i've been so inspired by denyse schmidt and her style of quilting... i took a class from her at make workshop a few years ago and it had a huge impact on me. her wool and cotton couture quilts are my favorite. i visit her webiste now and then just to look at them and be inspired again...

two ladies just came into the shop, they were at denise's studio in westport yesterday, i guess she has a huge, fabulous space filled with fabric. sigh.
denyse schmidt fever has reached the uk too now - although not her quilts. i just bought some of her notepapers in selfridges. they stock all her stationary which means shes a "hot" designer.
Really love her pieces ! Just amazing ! :)
